Chryssanthi is a Writer/Director with a background in film and theatre. She has a BA in Media and Cultural Studies and an MA in Performance with a focus on acting.
A self-starter in directing she has written, directed, and produced five short narrative films, as well as directed music videos and other short-form projects. Her films have screened at festivals in the USA, Europe, and Canada. In theatre, she has directed over 12 short & long plays at London's Off-West End stages, specialising in new writing. Currently, she also works as a Producer/Director for factual TV programmes.
Chryssanthi loves to tell female-led, character-driven stories about complex relationship dynamics, transformative experiences, and unsettled characters seeking connection. Her unique talent is making work that’s simple and complex, lyrical and accessible, and emotionally resonant.
